3A+ Students

Volume I Framed to Help Drive Students to Success!

“Education must shift from a purely academic focus to a whole child approach in which not only cognitive [excelling in education], but also physical [shaping character], social [building relationships], emotional [avoiding pitfalls], and civic learning [setting goals] and health [having fun] is targeted and developed” ~Sean Slade

Shaping Character

Helping students build up their self-esteem  in order for them to do well in and out of school.

Avoiding Pitfalls

Given the current changes in both our society and school system such as dropout rates, test scores, high school completion rates, and college entrance rates our children are at high-risk socially and scholastically our students will be provided a blueprint for their success with realistic methods for getting students on track in school and keeping them there.

Setting Goals

Teach students how to set realistic goals and develop a plan to achieve these goals that are essential in helping students understand who they are as learners and provide them with the opportunity to reflect upon their journey, instead of simply focusing on successes and failures.

Excelling In Education

Examining the child’s learning abilities and accept whatever obstacle they may have to go through. Whether it be dealing with a child on a lower learning level, a child with special learning talents, or any other learning deficits.  Students with various labels who also come from low socioeconomic status families and from ethnic and linquistic minority backgrounds that are consistently failing will thrive in our program at all levels of their education.

Building Relationships

Preparing students to become successful individuals both personally and as a part of the larger society.

Having Fun

Provide coaching through sport activities to help the athletes work toward accomplishing their goals.  Having fun will be used to teach skills that can be developed; the more proficient someone becomes at being able to set and work toward goals through sports, the more effectively they will be able to reach the goals they have set in the classroom.
